Polish Heritage Society of Rochester Scholarships
We are very pleased to announce that our $1,000 scholarship will be available for up to ten
qualifying high school students for the year 2012. To be eligible for our scholarship a student
must be a senior who is of Polish descent (at least one parent) and lives in Monroe County or
one of the surrounding six counties. Click to see the

The Webster Herald reported on April 20, 2011 that 2009 PHSR winner Max Bileschi was awarded the Barry M.
Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education award, given nationally to outstanding college undergraduates
studying mathematics, science or engineering. Max attends the University of Buffalo. Max is studying computer
science and mathematics, and plans to work for a Ph.D. and a teaching/research career.
