  • Scholarship awards, stipends of $1000 given annually to students of Polish descent to help support their college education
  • Performances of Polish music
  • Exhibits of the work of Polish artists
  • Lectures and presentations
  • Concerts featuring young Polish Americans

We are filled with enthusiasm for continuing and expanding our work, anticipating activities such as :

  • An oral history project to preserve the memories and experiences of Rochester Polonia’s senior members
  • Restoration of sites that figure in the Polish community’s story, such as the sgrafitto of Copernicus at St. John Fisher College and the tombstone of Franciszek Salezy Wolowski at Mt. Hope Cemetery
  • Adding a work created by a polish artist to the permanent collection of the memorial Art Gallery
  • Publicly acknowledging works of art on display in the Rochester area that were created by Polish Americans
  • Expanding our programs for youth
  • Serving as a supportive, unifying force in Rochester’s Polish community
